Body Signal
Notice what your body may be communicating before pushing past it, misreading it, or ignoring it. Body Signal helps you recognize physical cues and choose one small response without demanding a perfect explanation.
Three times this week…
When you notice physical discomfort, low energy, restlessness, or strain, pause and ask:
- What is my body feeling right now?
- What might this be pointing to?
- What does my body seem to need?
Then choose one small response: food or water, rest, movement, stillness, sensory reduction, warmth, relief, or support.
Don’t judge it. Don’t force a perfect answer. Just notice the signal and respond.
Make it work for you
Add a cue that helps you check in. Pause when you notice tension in your shoulders or jaw. Ask whether you need rest or stimulation. Lower noise, light, or input if you feel overloaded. Notice whether you are hungry, tired, sick, or simply pushed too far. Choose one small adjustment instead of automatically pushing through.
Why it matters
Physical signals can carry useful information about what is happening and what may need attention. Noticing them creates a chance to respond earlier rather than only reacting once discomfort, fatigue, overload, or illness becomes harder to ignore.
Remember
Your body is not interrupting your life. Your body is part of how your life speaks.
