Pattern Finder

Recognize repeated patterns in situations, thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and consequences. Pattern Finder helps you spot recurring loops early enough to interrupt them instead of simply running them again.

Three times this week…

Pause after a repeated frustration, reaction, or outcome and ask:

  • What happened?
  • What was I thinking, feeling, and doing?
  • What happened next?

Then ask: Have I seen this pattern before?

Don’t overanalyze. Don’t spiral. Just notice the pattern.

Make it work for you

Add a cue that helps you remember. Review one repeated stress point at the end of the day. Write down one trigger and one outcome. Notice patterns in conflict, avoidance, or procrastination. Ask, “Where have I seen this before?” Look for what keeps repeating.

Why it matters

You can’t interrupt a pattern you never recognize. Seeing the loop gives you a chance to change it.

Remember

The goal isn’t to explain everything. The goal is simply to catch the pattern before it runs again.
